On Friday, March 12, 2021, Madonna Jo Edwards, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Donna was born December 30, 1962 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Adam and Anna Betsey. She was raised and attended Atoka High School. Following her education Donna gained employment as a grill cook for the Atoka Truck Stop. She also cooked at different restaurants as a breakfast cook always enjoying making hungry people happy! On July 15, 1993, Donna was united in marriage to Donald Alan Edward and they raised one daughter together. They resided in Skiatook for many years before moving to Prue, Oklahoma where she has continued to reside.

Her hobbies included watching Lifetime Television, collecting different what nots from secondhand stores, making homemade Christmas decorations, cooking big meals during holidays and being an avid Sooner football fan.

Donna was preceded in death by her father and mother Adam and Anna Betsey. Survivors include her husband Don, daughter Janet, one stepson, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, several sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, mother-in-law Edie and a sister-in-law Rebekah.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Brother Garry McDevitt officiating. Burial will be held privately in the Prue Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Madonna at www.chapman-black.com.
