Mackie Dobbs, age 76, passed away on November 21, 2018.

Mackie was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, son of Dee Jones and Sylvia Trellis (Willhite) Dobbs. Mack grew up in Sperry, Oklahoma from the age of four until he was 17. At that time Mack joined the U.S. Navy on October 25, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Following his honorable discharge on May 24, 1963 at Treasure Island, California, Mack returned to the Tulsa area. Mackie was united in marriage to Cariel Ann Chandler in Sperry, Oklahoma on December 5, 1965. The couple resided in Sperry for a short time before moving to Owasso. Mack worked for Flo-Bend for 28 years as a maintenance electrician in Sand Springs following the closure of the facility Mackie obtained a position with Stainable Solutions in Wagoner, Oklahoma where he remained until his retirement. In the early 1970's Mack and Cariel moved to their current home in Jennings, Oklahoma.
Mack enjoyed fishing, coon hunting and spending hours watching the hummingbirds. He also spent numerous hours watching John Wayne movies.
Survivors include his wife Cariel Dobbs of Jennings, Oklahoma, son Frank Dobbs of Jennings, Oklahoma, daughter Denise Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma, close friends Leon Howard of Jennings, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Dee Dobbs, mother Sylvia Dobbs, siblings Ronnie Dobbs, Bennie Dobbs, Joe Dobbs and Eldridge Dobbs

Services will be private.
