Tildon Leroy Trimble was born August 24, 1917 in Yale, Oklahoma to Lee and Retha (Johnson) Timble. He owned many businesses through his lifetime including a cafÈ, bakery, grocery store and a putt-putt golf course. He traveled extensively with his last employment of pipelining. Leroy was an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed baseball and football and coached little league baseball.
Leroy passed away Sunday June 8, 2003 at the Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Maxine.
Leroy is survived by his two sons Dale and wife Mary Nell Trimble of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Randy and wife Donna Trimble of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; sister Ruby and husband Gale Hadley of Stillwater, Oklahoma; brother Eldon and wife DeDe Trimble of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Allan and wife Courtney Trimble of Jenks, Oklahoma, Kim and husband Ralph Smith of Cleveland, Oklahoma, MaRanda Trimble of Branson, Missouri and Zach Trimble of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren Tylar, Tori, Bo and Ty as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday June 11, 2003 in the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma with Rev. George Boston and Dr. Larry Wilson officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
