Kayla Marie Buff, 27, resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on June 2, 2019, at the Hillcrest Medical Center.
Kayla was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 24, 1991. She grew up and began her education in Bristow, Oklahoma. She later moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma where she completed her education. Following her education Kayla began working at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home. She later moved to Tulsa and during that time she worked at Dollar General and Arby’s in Catoosa. However, her favorite job was being a mom and homemaker.
Kayla enjoyed drawing, cooking and family gatherings. A couple of her favorite places to eat were at the Outback Steak House or the Olive Garden especially with Bryan. She also enjoyed going to hotels and spending time at the pool. Kayla had a small collection of angels. Attending the women’s dinner at the Community Church in Mannford was always an enjoyable time. Kayla loved watching television especially The Residence, 911, Shirley Temple movies or any show that had involved a mystery. Most of all in life Kayla loved being around her family that she loved dearly.
Kayla is survived by her son Jackson Abel Ziegler of the home; fiancé Bryan Ziegler of the home; parents Charlene and Darrell Schonfield of Bristow, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother Bevalene Jackson of Cleveland, Oklahoma; paternal grandfather Harold Schonfield of Bristow, Oklahoma; siblings Buddy Wayne Buff, II of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Lucy Schonfield of Bristow, Oklahoma, JoAnn Schonfield of Bristow, Oklahoma, Kyle Schonfield of Bristow, Oklahoma, Nathan Schonfield of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Summer Buff of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lyndee Buff of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Landon Buff of Tulsa, Oklahoma; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Kayla was preceded in death by her biological dad Buddy Buff, maternal grandfather Bobby Jackson, maternal grandmother Linda Schonfield, paternal grandmother Daisy Buff, paternal grandfather Olin Buff.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, 5th of June, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Services for Kayla Buff will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland with Robert Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery with Chapman-Black Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
