Katina Sue Hanlon was born December 31, 1977 in Drumright, Oklahoma.'  Katina was the daughter of Nile Lawson and Susan Kim (Ballenger) Hanlon.'  As a young girl Katina grew up in Jennings, Oklahoma where she began school.'  Katina continued attending school in Jennings until the 8th grade.'  At the beginning of her freshman year Katina began attending school in Mannford.'  During her time in high school she was an active part of the cross country, choir, cheerleading squad and basketball team. She also worked during the summers at the First National Bank in Pawnee.'  She graduated from Mannford High School with the Class of 1996.'  Following graduation she enrolled at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.'  She later transferred to Northeastern State University at Tahlequah.'  In 1998, Katina accepted employment at the Bank of America in Tulsa until 2002.'  Following her job with the Bank of America she began working at the AT&T call center for a short time before returning to complete her education at Oklahoma State University.'  Katina was scheduled graduated in December with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Katina was a person that could bring a smile to everyoneís face.'  She was very energetic and loved being around other people.'  She put her life on hold several times to take care of family and friends that meant so much to her.'  Katina enjoyed going to movies, shopping and dancing.'  One of the many things that Katina did when she was younger was going with her grandmother shopping, eating lunch at Wardís CafÈ and a stop at the beauty shop every Thursday. The two of them wouldspend the whole day together enjoying each others company.'  A favorite place that Katina loved to visit was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.'  She mentioned numerous times of the fun and excitement she had while visiting.'  Katina had a special place in her heart for helping people; she loved children dearly and would help anyone in any situation.'  Katina will be dearly missed especially her love for life and bubbly personality. Katina Sue Hanlon-Hazlip left this life on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the age of 32 years. Survivors include her father and mother Nile and Susan Hanlon of Jennings, Oklahoma; fiancÈ Trey Spencer of Jennings, Oklahoma; one brother Eric Hanlon and his wife Angie of Perry, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents Albert and Bertha Hanlon of Jennings, Oklahoma; two nieces Abigail and Bella Hanlon as well as numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing.'  She was preceded in death by daughter Kaylee Hamner as well as her maternal grandparents Tilmon and Loella Ballenger. Church services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 1, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma with Pastor Harrison Gibson officiating.'  Private burial will be in the Jennings Cemetery next to her daughter Kaylee under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.'  Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
