Julie Joan Tolbert

Julie Joan Tolbert, of Terlton was born August 3, 1973 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Loretta Joan Tolbert and Randall Gene Tolbert.

Julie attended Terlton schools until the 6th grade then she went to Cleveland Schools and graduated from Cleveland High School in 1992. Julie gained employment with Southwest Cupid in Hominy after high school for a short time then later started to work at Avis Rental in Drumright, Oklahoma. Julie was presently employed with Vartec as an Inbound Caller who is associated with PBS. Julie loved to go dancing and reading story books to her daughter. Julie was also a member of the the Terlton Baptist Church

December 9, 2001 Julie passed away at Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 28 years 4 months and 6 days. Her paternal grandparents Eugene and Maxine Tolbert and a Maternal Great Grandfather Bill Wise preceded her in death.

Survived by her daughter, Mersadies Gayle Clewien, of the home; parents, Randall and Loretta Tolbert of Terlton, Oklahoma; sister, Tifany Tolbert of Terlton, Oklahoma; brother, Wesley Tolbert of Terlton, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, John and Freda Gayle McAdoo of Indianola, Oklahoma; maternal great grandmother, Lessie Mae Wise of McAlester, Oklahoma as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Thursday December 13, 2001 at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Terlton Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Speck officiating. Burial will be at Indianola Cemetery in Indianola, Oklahoma at 1:30 pm under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
