Julie Jo Muniz

Julie Jo Muniz was born April 20, 1990 in Denver, Colorado. Julie moved with her family to Cleveland, Oklahoma as a young girl. She later graduated from Cleveland High School with the Class of 2008. Following graduation Julie worked at Ballardís Grocery in Oilton and later began working at Fusion Care in Mannford. In May of 2012, Julie moved to Oklahoma City and was employed with Wal-Mart. Julie loved to help people. She also was an avid watcher of UFC and Rashad Evans was her favorite fighter. Julie spent many hours reading books and novels. At the age of seven, Julie gave her life over to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Walsenburg, Colorado. Julie loved spending time on her phone talking and texting her friends. She was known as one of the fastest texters around. Julieís favorite foods were catfish, stuffed sopapilla and snicker doodle cookies. Julie was described by her family as very bubbly, awesome, tenacious and very passionate. Julie Jo Muniz, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of 22 years, two months and six days. Survivors are her parents Joseph and Mary Muniz of Cleveland, Oklahoma, ten siblings Sandra Cordova Joseph Muniz, Jr., Sheri Muniz, Timothy Muniz, Dominic Muniz, Christina Muniz, Elaine Banks, Scott Muniz, Stephanie Muniz, Annabella Muniz; maternal grandmother Erminia Stine of Denver, Colorado, paternal grandmother Clara Martinez of Denver, Colorado; 19 foster brothers and sisters, 28 nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends. Julie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather John Martinez, maternal grandfather Joseph Muniz and brother Lewis Muniz. Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Stage Center in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home
