Julianne ''Judy'' Noble, a resident of Hominy was born March 15, 1926 in Hominy, Oklahoma to George H. and Golda E. (Tisdale) Cox. Julianne was raised and attended schools in Hominy. She graduated from high school from Pryor, Oklahoma. After, graduation from high school Julianne enrolled and attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma. She was untied in marriage to James C. Noble at Hominy, Oklahoma on September 5, 1942 and to that union there are three children James, Roger and Jo Ellen. Julianne and James lived in many different places Brazil, Greece, Panama, Kuwait, Puerto Rico, and the Bahama Islands. James' job in the oil industry took them to all of these different places but they still made Hominy their home. Julianne enjoyed to sew, cook, read and take care of others that needed help. She also devoted a lot of her time to the Christ Cupboard in Hominy. Julianne was also an active member of the Nazarene Church and Oklahoma State Historical Society Local Chapter. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband James on January 27, 1993 as well as her sister Avis Womack.
Julianne passed away at her home December 1, 2001 in Hominy, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years 8 months and 16 days.
Survived by her children, James Robert ''Bob'' and wife Judy Noble of Dillon, Colorado; Roger K. and wife Laura Noble of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jo Ellen Reddell of Stephenville, Texas; Five Grandchildren, Theresa Hill and husband Jeremy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Chad Noble of Dillon, Colorado; Jeanna Mendoza and husband Tony of Hutto, Texas; Julie Reddell of Stephenville, Texas; Kendal Reddell of Stephenville, Texas; one Great Granddaughter, Rylee Mendoza of Hutto, Texas. Her Bahamian Family, Gloria Pedican of Freeport, Grand Bahama; Four Grandchildren, Don, John, Mandi, Abigail Pedican of Freeport, Grand Bahama.
Services will be held December 4, 2001 at 10:00 AM at the Nazarene Church, with services officiated by Pastor Harold Johnson. Burial will be at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc of Cleveland, Oklahoma.
The family has request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Christ Cupboard in Hominy, Oklahoma or any local charity.
