Judy Lynn Collier passed from this life on August 20, 2021, at the age of 76.
Judy was born on July 28, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Everett and Evelyn Mayceal (Tudor) Carter. She grew up and was raised in Cleveland, Oklahoma where she attended school. After school Judy would work at Katie's Café and later worked at Wards Café as well. In the late 60's early 70's, Judy worked at MunsingWear in Hominy, Oklahoma. In 1981, Judy moved to Sand Springs and began working at Ollie's Café. She later started working at Kmart in Sand Spring for several years before gaining employment at Ameristar Fence in 1991. In 2009, Judy retired and was the foreman in the packaging department.
Judy loved to read. Her favorites were romance novels, mystery, religious and westerns. Judy's favorite times were when she was with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors are six children Stacy Mauck of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Justin Collier of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Rich Collier, Jr. of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Connie Davis of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Dale Collier of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Carolyn Bray of Big Sandy, Tennessee; one brother Frank Carter of Bakersfield, California; five grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Madelynn, Cannon and Everett; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren in Tennessee. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her siblings Dewey Allen Carter, Luther Everett Carter, Patsy Kay Barker, Jacqueline Carter, son in law Rick Mauck, daughter in law Donna Collier.
Services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
