Joyce Geraldene Tribble, of Jennings, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her home at the age of 71 years seven months and nine days. Joyce was born October 14, 1940, in French Bottom, Missouri a small community West of St. Joseph, Missouri. She was the daughter of James Russell and Morene Geraldene (West) Castle. As a young girl Joyce was raised in the French Bottom area and in 1952 moved with her parents to rural Stewartsville. Following the completion of JoyceÃs education she moved to Maysville, Missouri and began working in a local restaurant. Joyce later returned to St. Joseph and worked at Atlas Printing, Victory CafÈ as well as managed the Deluxe Truck Stop. During her time at Deluxe Truck Stop she met George William Tribble on July 29, 1978. Joyce and George later moved to Wyoming, Colorado before moving to Oklahoma. In 1993, the couple moved to Jennings where they have continued to reside. Joyce love to cook, fish, work in her garden and tend to her plants. She also enjoyed going to the mountains. Most of all out of her life Joyce spending time at home with her family that she loved so dearly. Survivors are her husband George of the home, one daughter Glenda Redmon of Jennings, Oklahoma, three sisters Valerie Galbraith of Rea, Missouri, Rita Russell of St. Joseph, Missouri, Becky Darr of Stewartsville, Missouri, two grandchildren Sonja Michelle Redmon, Tiffany Renee Redmon; one great granddaughter Kaydence Lee Dunham and a host of other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by father her James Castle, mother Morene Castle, one sister Charlotte Crumb and a nephew Clinton Molder. Memorial services interment of the cremated remains will be held at a later date. Chapman-Black Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangments.
