Joyce Raye (Ellis) Lynch,78, of Terlton went to be with her Lord, May 4, 2016 at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Center with her loving family by her side. Joyce was born March 18, 1938 to Claude and Jessie Ellis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Joyce was raised and schooled in the Chattanooga area, she met and married Charles Ducker Sr. and they started a family the marriage later ended in divorce, Joyce was married to James Lynch until he passed away. The family moved to California and then she moved to Phoenix, Arizona with Jim Lynch and lastly to Alvarado, Texas where Joyce met and married Billy Jackson until he passed February 13, 2016. Joyce worked as a beautician and later in life serving as a nurses aide in local nursing homes and loved caring for the elderly. Joyce recently moved to the Terlton area to be closer to family after her husband Billy passed away. Joyce was an amazing mother and grand mother making her first priority in life to care for her family, she loved Sci-Fi especially Star Trek, Joyce loved to Travel and did so whenever she could, she loved music, country and gospel, especially Elvis. Joyce was a speed reader reading up to four books in one night, she was a big shopper and loved going to Las Vegas. Joyce surprised everyone by showing her love for hunting by going to hunting lodges with Billy Jackson. Joyce was well loved at the Cleveland Manor having a profound effect on the residents and staff by showing them her love and caring for them every day. Joyce will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Joyce leaves to cherish her memories, two sons; Charles Ducker Jr. and Richard Ducker, three daughters; Cynthia Wilkins, Carolyn Silva and Shirley Buentello, one stepson; Glen Jackson, Three brothers; Kenneth Ellis, Walter Ellis, and Jackie Ellis, eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, many other relatives and a hosts of friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands James Lynch, and Billy Jackson, one grandson Jeremy Mooring. Private family services will be held at a later date.
