Johnny Paul Kinyon, 53, peacefully passed away on January 11, 2025, at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on November 10, 1971, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, he was the son of Robert William Kinyon Sr. of Jennings, Oklahoma, and Grace Louise (Kinyon) Forrest of Hulbert, Oklahoma. John graduated from Oilton High School in 1990.

In 1991, John proudly served his country by joining the Army, stationed in Washington and Louisiana, where he became an expert in HumV operations and worked with munitions.

John is survived by his former wife, Megan Hinton, and their two daughters, Taylor Powell and Hannah Kinyon, all of Washington. He shared a previous 20-year partnership with Lora Shelton from Tulsa, with whom he had a son, Jaxon Daniel Kinyon, who is 8 years old.

He is also survived by his parents, three siblings-Robert William Kinyon Jr. of Jennings, Oklahoma, Ruth Meyer of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Holly Chenault of Cleveland, Oklahoma-and many extended family members, friends, and colleagues.

A talented individual, John excelled in construction work and was a gifted painter and artist, skilled in various mediums such as metal and leather. He dedicated his career to the family concrete business. John cherished spending time with his son, Jaxon, flying drones, building zip lines, shopping, and teaching him to ride electric toys and motorcycles. Known for his stylish taste, he enjoyed wearing high-end clothing, premium cologne, and trendy shades.

Family and friends whose lives were touched by John are warmly invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the First Apostolic Church, located at 19177 S. Welling Rd, Welling, Oklahoma, 74471.
