John Edward Anson

John Edward Anson, 52, of Cleveland, OK, passed on to his eternal home in heaven, Friday, November 5, 2021, at Cleveland Area Hospital in Cleveland, OK

John was born March 2, 1969, to Ronny Edward Anson and Floy Sue Rainey in Artesia, NM. He married Ann Smith, April 26, 2014 in Terlton, OK. John was a paraplegic from a severe spinal cord injury about 18 years ago working at KFC in Blackwell, OK. Over the years John had many hospital ICU stays, surgeries, and illnesses over the years confined to his home hospital bed at times. Recently, the past 13 months he was confined to his hospital bed 85% of the time awaiting a spine surgery for an Arachnoid Cyst that had flattened his spine, caused him to lose vision in the right eye, lose hearing in his right ear as the cyst grew larger and going up his spine to the brain stem causing pressure. Covid Pandemic was why he had to wait so long for recent surgeries needed. He fought hard to hold on, but succumbed to his medical issues and passed on to heaven. John played the guitar and was an internet radio DJ - "DJ GhostRider" - Rocking with the Rider Show on Vaughnlive.tv. He also worked doing Missing persons and Amber Alert posters with the National Missing and Exploited Children and several other prominent national missing persons data bases and other non-profits working in the missing persons segment. John loved to cook, play board games, cards, dominoes, and joke with his wife and home health team of nurses, CNA, and PCA. John had a heart, mind, and soul of gold and loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior, with all of his heart, mind, and soul. Although he went through serious health issues he remained optimistic and cheerful. John has no more pain, illness, or paralyzed now free of his wheelchair. John is running singing, playing guitar, and dancing in heaven.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Anson of Cleveland, OK; there were no children; one sister, Nadine Louise [Anson] Cusick and two brothers, Ronny Edward Anson, Jr. and Randy Earl Anson both of Ponca City, OK and step-mother, Debra Elaine Anson of Cleveland, OK.
