John Milo Clark, III, known to his friends and family as Jim, passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 80 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jim was born on August 30, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of John Milo, Jr. and Cleo R. (Hutchinson) Clark. Jim grew up in Berryhill, where he attended school and graduated in the Class of 1962. Following high school, Jim worked at Busch Industries before joining the United States Army in 1965. He served in Vietnam and was later honorably discharged in 1971. Following his discharge, Jim returned to Tulsa and worked for a short time at a local welding shop before driving a cab. On August 30, 1980, Jim was united in marriage to Wanda Louise (Reese) Hutchinson at the First Christian Church in Cleveland. Following their marriage, the couple established their home in Cleveland, where they have continued to reside. Jim began working for Spess Oil Company for many years until he returned to driving a cab. He also worked for Storey Wrecker until Jim gained employment at Gilcrease Museum as a security guard.
Jim was an avid fisherman and bowler. Bowled for many years in Hominy and later in Tulsa on a traveling league. Jim had several perfect games.
Survivors are his wife Wanda; five children John Clark of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Chris Clark of Florida, Margaret Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Teresa Dorton of Wichita Falls, Texas, Sandra Henry of Arkansas; siblings Linda Sykos of El Paso, Texas, Morris Clark of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Julie Beaulieu of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Erik Clark of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Danny Clark of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Penny Nance of Mannford, Oklahoma, fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, John, Jr. and Cleo Clark, and a son, Robert Clark.
