Jerry Don Price

Jerry Don Price was born October 12, 1952 at Yale, Oklahoma the son of J D and Evelyn Jann (Wade) Price. He attended school at Yale where he later graduated with the Class of 1970. Jerry entered into the service of his country during the Vietnam Conflict and was later honorably discharged and returned to the Yale, Oklahoma area. Jerry was united in marriage to Brenda Lee Barnhart on August 9, 1974 at Yale, Oklahoma and to this union there are two children, Jamie Dawn and Richard Kyle. Jerry was a member of American Legion Post 64 in Chandler, Oklahoma as was a disabled Veteran at an early age. Jerry was later united in marriage to Karen Lee in Stillwater, Oklahoma on October 31, 1991. During the times when Jerry was able to work, he worked as a Stone Mason. Jerry Don Price passed away at his home Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his daughter Jamie Dawn Starr and her husband Jeremy, one son Richard Kyle Price; three grandchildren Trinity Dawn, Tyler Royce and Taylor Marie Lay; one brother James Ronald Price; one sister Susan Diane Price; two step children Allen Rich and his wife Alicia, Cari Cope and her husband Marty; very dear friends Margie and Steve Ballenger of Jennings as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, J D Price and mother Evelyn Jann (Wade) Price, wife Karen Lee, two brothers Jimmie Dale Price, Gerald Dewayne Price, one sister Deborah Ann Price, paternal grandparents James Robert Price and Ola "Hunt" Price, maternal grandparents George Henry and Mirnerva Jane " Luster" Wade.

Gravesides service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Lawson Cemetery Pavilion in Yale, Oklahoma with Rev. Michael Dershem officiating. Services are under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
