Jean Frances Allison, 88, passed from this life on December 16, 2020, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Jean was born on December 21, 1931, in Higginsville, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Mabel (Brown) Winfrey. Jean initially grew up in Higginsville and later moved with her family to Kansas City, Missouri. Jean graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Following graduation, Jean began working for a local oil company as a secretary. She later accepted employment with TWA. While working with TWA, Jean could travel extensively and was able to see many parts of the world. In 1960, Jean traveled to Southern California to a friend’s wedding, and during that time, she was introduced to Victor Vail Allison. On November 22, 1961, the couple were united in marriage. They established their home in Northern San Bernardino, California, where they raised their family. Jean was a homemaker and also operated an in-home daycare for many years. In 1997, Jean moved from California to Cleveland to be closer to her family. Jean had continued to reside in her Cleveland home until April 2018 when she moved to the Arbor Village in Sapulpa.

Jean enjoyed crocheting and taking daily walks. She also had a love for game shows, and during her time residing in California, she would take her children with her to see the live shows. Jean was also an excellent baker making cookies, cakes, pies, and jams for her family and friends. During her 23 years of residing in Cleveland, Jean was a member of the TOPS group, a member of HCE (Happy Homemakers) and was an active member of the UMW at the First United Methodist Church. One thing most significant in Jean’s life was her love and passion for her Lord and Saviour.

Survivors include her two children Timothy Paul Allison and his wife Paula of Trimble, Missouri, Virginia “Ginger” Yoast-Dale and her husband Marc of Vail, Arizona; five grandchildren Gregory Douglas Yoast and his wife Lindsay of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Phillip Allen Yoast and Kristen Lunny of Chicago, Illinois, Jeffrey Alsup of Independence, Missouri, Jessica Alsup of Polo, Missouri and Hope Victoria Allison and Tim Marrant of Kansas City, Missouri; three great-grandchildren Isabella-Lynn Marie, Caroline Jayne, Chloe and a host of other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband Victor Vail Allison, siblings JoAnne Catherine Holway and Betty Louise Chancellor-Beyer
