Jc Edwards

Johnathan Carl Edwards, known as “JC”, passed from this life July 17, 2019, outside Cleveland, Oklahoma. Born October 13, 1999, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, JC is the son of Terry Edwards and Carla Denice Lemmons Donigan. He attended school in Pawhuska, then in 5th grade, he began attending Hominy Schools, later graduating from Cleveland Public Schools with the Class of 2018. JC was a very good football player; he began playing football during middle school. He also was in track, he boxed, and practiced mixed martial arts often sparing with others.
JC loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Summertime and the 4th of July in particular was his favorite time of year. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while playing jokes on others or giving them a hard time. JC loved hanging out with his brother and most of all in life spending time with his kids. JC enjoyed being close to people and he referred to himself as the “the chosen one”. He has been described by others as a very unique person.
JC is survived by girlfriend KaSandra May Stokes, two children Marcus Ray Edwards and Jade Olivia Edwards all of the home; parents Terry Edwards of Hominy, Oklahoma, Carla Donigan and her husband Shawn of Hallett, Oklahoma, brother Eric Edwards and his wife Amber of Hominy, Oklahoma; grandparents Mark and Janie Long of Hallett, Oklahoma, niece Cassie Edwards, numerous other relatives and friends. JC is preceded in death by his grandparents Gene and Mildred Edwards, John Hinchey, Jack and Juanita Lemmons.
Services for JC will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Hominy Church of the Nazarene. Donations for his two children can be made at BlueSky Bank in lieu of flowers.
