Jason Lee Mills

Jason Lee Mills, 46, passed from this life on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at his home in Jennings, Oklahoma.

Jason was born April 30, 1970, in Cushing, Oklahoma. Jason is the son of G. W. Mills and Barbara Joe (Sanders) Mills. Jason was initially raised in Cushing where he began his education. The family later moved to Jennings following a total loss of their home due to a fire. Jason then completed his education in Oilton. During his time in high school, Jason took carpentry classes at Drumright Vo-Tech. Following high school, Jason began working for his father G.W. and continued that throughout much of his life.

His hobbies included fishing and hunting which he did on every occasion that he could.

Survivors include his father G. W. Mills and wife Sylvia of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two sisters Debra Kay White and her husband Allen of Owasso, Oklahoma, Dolores "Dee" Lynn Macken and her husband Phil of Gardnerville, Nevada, four nieces and nephews Lauren Olivia Webb, Christopher Allen White, Taylor Nichole White, Alexandra Joe Lynn Macken and numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Jewel Mills, maternal grandparents Bill and Mary Sanders and his mother, Barbara Mills.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. David Head officiating. The cremated remains will be later interred in the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
