James Lynn Tenney

James Lynn Tenney was born November 28, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska to Donald Ellsworth, II and Margaret Ann (Anderson) Tenney. Jim grew up in Omaha and at the age of fourteen the family moved to Bristow. Jim continued to live in Bristow and graduated high school in 1997. Soon after his graduation he gained employment at Enlow Auction in Sapulpa. He later accepted employment at BIOS Healthcare in Sapulpa in 1998. Jim was employed at BIOS for the past 6 years as a health care giver.

Jim was united in marriage to Kimberly Ann (Aaron) at Terlton, Oklahoma on February 7, 2004. Jim had an extensive collection of metal cars and General Lee Memorabilia. He would also visit car shows frequently. He also loved to spend time in Sperryville, Virginia as well as with his twin nephews.

Jim passed away Monday August 30, 2004 at the age of 26 years 9 months and 2 days. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Donald Tenney Sr. and his best friend Robert Anderson.

Survived by his wife, Kimberly of the home; parents, Don Tenney of Tyler, Texas; Peggy Tenney of Bristow, Oklahoma; sister Tina Woods of Bristow, Oklahoma; grandmother Arlene Tenney of Omaha, Nebraska; uncle Bob Anderson of San Jose, California; adopted grandparents Kenneth and Shirley Blankenship of Tulsa, Oklahoma, adopted father Ron Bouslaugh of Bristow, Oklahoma as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary of the Terlton Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Speck officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 pm at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
