Jacquelin Fowler

Jacquelin Roberta Fowler passed away from this life on June 3, 2024, at the age of 73, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Jackie was born on May 12, 1951, in Torrance, California; she was the daughter of Robert and Frankie (Garnett) Osburn. Jackie grew up and attended school in Lynnwood, California. After completing her education, Jackie married Michiel Fowler on July 23, 1968, in Paramount, California, where the couple established their initial home. In 1975, Jackie and Mike moved to Spiro, Oklahoma, where they remained until moving to Cleveland in 1977, where Jackie and Mike raised their two children, Michelle and Jodie. Jackie worked at the Cleveland Nursing Home briefly before gaining employment at Walmart. In 1980, Jackie began working at The Cleveland Bank as a teller. She has worked in various capacities at the bank for over 37 years, retiring in 2017 as a customer service representative for American Heritage Bank.

Jackie enjoyed traveling and seeing the country. She and Mike have traveled frequently to the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, and New Orleans. She always enjoyed Christmas and giving to her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Mike of the home; two children, Michelle Welch of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Jodie Flager of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Derek Flager, Joey Flager, and Lori Miracle; great grandchildren Paislee Marie, Phillip Michiel, and Anakin Lynnex; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda M. Wheeler.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2004, at the Woodland Cemetery, with Pastor Dan Doss officiating. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
