Jackie Dale Peterman went home to be with his lord and savior on July 24. , 2022, at the age of 62.
Jackie was born on August 23, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Tommy Norman and Vonnie Floretta (Sutton) Peterman. Jackie grew up in the Keystone area attending school in Cleveland and graduating with the Class of 1977. Jackie was very active in sports, especially football "#57." Following high school Jackie was united in marriage to Carol Dean Crittendon on August 12, 1978, the mother of his two children, Chadwick Dale, and Alicia Carol. Jackie gained employment with KAMO, where he worked several years before accepting a position with PPG in Tulsa. He remained with PPG until he joined the family business in the late 1980s. Jackie has worked as a glazier for many years and is currently employed with Apax Glass in Cleveland. On September 29, 2008, in Loveland, Colorado, Jackie was united in marriage to Cindy Leigh Spicer, and the couple established their home in Prattville, Oklahoma. Jackie and Cindy enjoyed almost 18 years together
Jackie always enjoyed hunting and fishing. Racing factory stocks "#47" at Creek County Speedway and riding his motorcycles were also some things Jackie loved doing. However, his favorite things to do were being "Papa Jack," playing with his grandkids and attending their sporting events. Traveling, telling stories, or being with his family were always memorable events. Jackie helped coach his children in sports when they were growing up.
Survivors are wife Cindy of the home, children Chad Peterman and his wife Candice of Cleveland, Oklahoma, their children Chandler, Caleb, Brycen, Tyson, Lanie, Alicia Reich and her husband Cory of Cleveland, Oklahoma; their daughter Piper; Micah Phillips and wife Majda of Tulsa, Oklahoma their daughter Adrien, Philip Phillips and wife Danielle of Tulsa, Oklahoma their children Philip and Phoenix, Caroline Ryan and husband Kevin their children Margo and Penelope; siblings Tommy N. Peterman, Jr. of Beebe, Arkansas, Jessie A. Peterman of Keystone, Oklahoma, Norma F. Higgins and her husband Bob of Keystone, Oklahoma, Brenda L. Dyer and her husband Larry of Keystone, Oklahoma, Mickeal R. Peterman and his wife Kristi of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Vonnie Peterman and two sister in laws, Becky Peterman and Bev Peterman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, July 30, 2022, at the Westport Baptist Church, with Pastor Brandon Morton officiating services. Burial will follow in the Sinnett Cemetery in Keystone, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
