J C. Boone

BOONE, J. C. of Odessa, Texas, age 93 died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital.

J. was born April 6, 1914, in Denny's Gap, Kentucky. He worked for 43 years as a production foreman for Cities Service Oil Co. He was a member of First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Estelle Jackson Boone on June 6, 2005, parents and three sisters.

He is survived by his son, John C. Boone and wife Lynne of Irving, TX; daughter, Sharon Akers and husband James of Fork Union, Virginia; five grandchildren, Melynda Ghuneim of Charlotte, N.C., Marcia Akers of Jacksonville, Fla, Chris Walters, Mike Walters both of Houston and John Boone of Ft. Hood; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, OK.
