Imogene Gragg, of Cleveland was born August 10, 1938 in Decatur, Illinois to Harold Cecil and Lula Juanita (Seitz) Traughber. Imogene was raised and received her education in Decatur, Illinois. She graduated from Lakeview High School with the Class of 1956. Imogene attended college and soon accepted employment with the Decatur Memorial Hospital. She worked for the hospital from 1956 till 1961. Imogene was united in marriage to Richard Dean Gragg on March 19, 1960 in Decatur, Illinois. Imogene and Richard remained in Decatur where they raised their three children Sarah, Anthony and Beth.

Imogene was also employed at the Decatur public schools as a lunch room supervisor for from 1978 till 1987. She also worked at Decatur Office Systems as an office clerk for three years as well as McDonalds off and on for several years. Imogene and Richard moved to Cleveland in the October of 2000 after living in Decatur for over 60 years.

Imogene was very active in the Boy and Girl Scouts she was a Den Mother and for the Cub Scouts and an Adult Leader with the Girl Scouts for many years. She was also very active in the Church of the Brethren singing in the Choir as well as a former member of the Eastern Star. Imogene loved to shop, travel and most of all loved her family and grandchildren very much. Imogene wanted everyone to remember her by thinking that There goes a fine fine lady.

Imogene passed away at her home in Cleveland on Sunday August 17, 2003 at the age of 65 years and 7 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John and a sister Donna.

Survived by her loving husband, Richard Gragg, of the home; children, Sarah E Lowe of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Anthony D. Gragg and wife Kim of Bloomfield, Iowa; Beth A. Mullins and husband Rusty of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Lorraine Seitz and husband Kenneth, Decatur, Illinois; Linda Qualls and husband Leroy of Decatur, Illinois; six grandchildren, Amber, Sarah, Heather, Andrew and Kyle Gragg and Nathan Mullins as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 21, 2003 at 2:00 pm in the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Armstrong officiating. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Saturday at North Fork Cemetery in Decatur, Illinois with Pastor Dan Spruell officiating. Memorial Services will be held Sunday August 31, 2003 at 1:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the Church of the Brethren in Decatur, Illinois. Services are arranged and directed by Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
