Herbert Ray Davis

Herbert Ray Davis, formerly of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed away Friday December 8, 2006 in Longview, Texas at the age of 70 years 7 months and 15 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, and step father Vernon Stach.

Herbert Davis, a resident of Henderson, Texas was born April 23, 1936 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Alfred and Tinnie (Dawson) Davis. After Mr. Davis completed his education he entered into the service of his country; he joined the United States Navy. After serving four years Herbert was honorably discharged. Mr. Davis has made his home in Oklahoma, Texas and California.

Mr. Davis enjoyed watching all sports on television especially football.

Herbert is survived by his son, Keith Davis of Longview, Texas; daughter, Debbie Brumbalow of Hillsboro, Texas; five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one brother, Vernon D. Stach as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel with Dr. Larry Wilson officiating under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
