In 1995, they moved to Union, SC where he supported his family by being the head cook in a local, family-owned restaurant. In 2010, Wayne and his wife Karen returned to Oklahoma, moving to Hallett. On June 5, 2017, in Cleveland, OK, Wayne was united in marriage to Raye Ann Blaylock, and they made their home there.
