Gloria Tryphena Morgan known to her friends and family as Tena, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 85. Tena was born July 16, 1923 the daughter of Lewis and Jane (Ackley) Cloyd in May, Oklahoma. Tena received her education from Leedey Public Schools where she later graduated high school. Soon after graduation she was united in marriage to Ralph S. "Bull" Morgan in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 22, 1941. The couple made their intial home in Leedey until the mid 1940ís. They then moved to Camargo, Oklahoma until 1957. Bull was then transferred to El Reno, Oklahoma and in 1965 they moved to Perry, Oklahoma. In 1974 the couple then moved to Pawnee, Oklahoma where she has continued to reside. Tena enjoyed to sew, quilt and cook. She would often take what she prepared to the local Oklahoma Highway Patrol or the Sheriff Offices for them to enjoy. Survivors are her daughter Donna Rutherford of Cleveland, Oklahoma, four grandchildren Bill Morgan , Mike Morgan both of El Reno, Oklahoma, Angela Luthye of Enid, Oklahoma, Danielle Rutherford of Cleveland, Oklahoma, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father Lewis A. Cloyd, mother Jane Marie (Ackley) Cloyd, husband Ralph S. Morgan, infant daughter Jane Ann Morgan, son William Lewis Morgan and a grandson Chris Morgan. Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Sandra Bach officiating. Services are under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
