Glenn Milton Hodson was born October 4, 1938 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He was the son of Emery Milton and Dorothy Emmaline Hodson. Glenn started grade school in Skiatook and then moved with his family at an early age to Terlton, where he completed his education.
Upon completion of his education, Glenn began working as a heavy equipment operator on pipelines throughout the United States. He also operated a shrimp boat off the Florida Keys for a while and was employed has a truck driver for many years.
For the past several years, Glenn has managed properties including apartments and mobile home parks. He was married to Kathy Romshek on April 22, 2001. The couple then moved to Mannford from Stockton, California when they accepted employment managing the Rolling Oaks Mobile Home Park in Mannford.
Glenn's hobbies included fishing and watching western movies on the television. He also enjoyed listening to bluegrass and country western music. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time and visiting with his family.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Kathy Hodson of the home; mother, Dorothy Hodson Monforte of Cleveland, Oklahoma; two daughters, Glennda Lynn Ryan of Soap Lake, Washington and Cristy Wilson of Dixie, Washington; son, David Lee Hodson of Pendleton, Oregon; two sisters, Wilma Lee of Fort Worth, Texas and Joyce A. Turner of Mannford, Oklahoma; two brothers, Merrill Hodson of Mannford, Oklahoma and Darrell Hodson of Mannford, Oklahoma; twenty-three grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Glenn passed away on Friday, August 19, 2005 at his home in Mannford at the age of sixty-six years, ten months and sixteen days. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Opal E. Baxter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 22, 2005 at the Chapel of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland with Rev. Ted Herold, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at the Terlton Cemetery under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
