Gena Marguerite Linville-Wyche, 52, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the St. John Medical Center.
Gena was born February 1, 1965, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William Dean and Carol Marguerite (Garrett), Linville. Gena was raised and received her education in Hominy where she later graduated from High School with the Class of 1983. Following graduation, Gena attended Tulsa Junior College. After the completion of her studies; Gena moved to Austin, Texas. While residing in Austin Gena attended St. Edward’s University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Gena also graduated from the University of Phoenix in Tulsa with a Master’s degree in Management Information System. Gena worked in the airline industry, Department of Defense, Texas Attorney General’s office as well as for IBM for many years. She returned to Cleveland and established her home following her marriage on September 11, 2004, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Wesley Deane Wysche. In 2013, Gena and Wesley later opened and operated Keystone Accounting.
Gena enjoyed being outdoors. She loved to fish, and her favorite place to be was at home looking over her pond. Gena and Wesley have also raised parrots and placed many of their birds in the Cleveland area. Gena was a very loving and devoted wife to Wesley whom she loved dearly. She was also willing to help anyone that was in need.
Survivors are her loving husband Wesley of the home; mother Carol Linville of Cleveland, Oklahoma; in-laws Ross and Sandra Wyche of Stonewall, Oklahoma; brother in law Jessie Wyche and his wife Maggie of Fittstown, Oklahoma as well as many nieces, nephew, and friends. Gena was preceded in death by her father, Dean Linville.
Cemetery committal service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Blackburn Cemetery with Father Christopher Daigle officiating. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
