Garry Lee Dugan, Sr. passed from this life on January 28, 2022, at the age of 70.
Garry was born on December 18, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Kenneth Wade, Sr. and Mary Lee (Wilson) Dugan. Garry grew up and attended school initially in Sand Springs and moved with his family during his sophomore year to Cleveland where he graduated with the Class of 1970. On November 29, 1969, Garry was united in marriage to Juanita "Nita" Charlene Sharpnack in Hominy, Oklahoma. Following their marriage Garry and Nita resided in Cleveland where they have continued to live. Garry began working at Texaco in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 23, 1970. The facility later changed names several times from Sinclair and lastly Holly Frontier where he retired in April 23, 2013, two months shy of 43 years.
Garry loved going to races and owned several cars throughout the years with his son as the driver. Garry also liked the times spent at Hominy Lake at the cabin. Going fishing, working in the garden and always trying to grow the best tomatoes. One place he always like to be was on the mower with his favorite beverage.
Survivors are his wife Nita of the home; son Garry Dugan, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Cleveland, Oklahoma, daughter Stacy Renea McCage of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother Ronnie Dugan of Mannford, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Alexis McCage, Dylan Dugan, Whitney Dugan, Ryan Dugan and one great granddaughter Ember Ruiz and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Services will be live streamed on www.chapman-black.com. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Garry at www.chapman-black.com.
