     Franklin Leroy Robertson passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 91, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.Leroy was born in Jennings, Oklahoma, on October 24, 1932, the son of William Roy and Clara Lucille (Brannon) Robertson. 

     Leroy grew up in Jennings, Hallett, and Nelogany, where he attended school, graduating from Hallett High School with the Class of 1951. As a young child, Leroy was raised by Roy and Minnie Martin, where he gained two bonus sisters, Doris Dunlap and Lavon Alexander. Following his education, Leroy began working for the railroad in Emporia, Kansas. In 1951, Leroy was married to Mary Bowen, and to that union, there were three children: Kathie, Bonnie, and Bill. In 1954, Leroy moved to Coffeyville and gained employment with Moore Lowery Flour Mill. On June 26, 1978, Leroy was united in marriage to Naomi in Miami, Oklahoma. Leroy worked at the mill for nearly 40 years, and when he retired in 1995, he was the general manager. Leroy and Naomi, following his retirement, began traveling with the Baptist Builders Mission on Wheels for over 12 years. He also worked with the Oklahoma Disaster Relief team following storms. Leroy always enjoyed working in his wood shop, making doll houses and castles for his grandkids. He helped with the addition to the Western Heights Baptist Church. Leroy has been a member of the Baptist faith since a small child being baptized at the Hallet Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife Naomi of the home; two children Kathie Smith of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Bonnie Webster of Collinsville, Oklahoma; two bonus children Michaele Kastler of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Brenda Gordon of Coffeyville, Kansas; two brothers Emmett Robertson of Spring, Texas, Bob Robertson of Baytown, Texas, twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his siblings Delores Robertson, Elouise Shipman, Ollie Mae Dickey, Virgil Robertson, son Bill Robertson, grandson Bobby Robertson and a son-in-law Jack Webster. 

     Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Hallett Baptist Church, with Mark Howard officiating. The burial will be held in the Bethany Cemetery at Hallett, Oklahoma, with Chapman-Black Funeral Home handling the arrangements. In lieu of flower donations, be made in honor of Leroy to the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, or the Hallett Baptist Church.
