Eunice Ogden

After the death of her husband John, she could often be found mowing the lawn, refinishing furniture or always had a project going; she stayed busy. She loved attending garage and yard sales and had quite a collection of old records, salt and pepper shakers, lanterns and most any thing red (mostly strawberry items). Eunice also enjoyed listening to George Jones and Elvis Presley music. Eunice passed away at the age of eighty-four on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford where she has resided for the past year. In addition to her husband, Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Jennie Edens; three sisters, Goldie Sams, Bessie Ogden, and Martha Mitchell; and three brothers, Luther Edens, Claud Edens and Clint Edens. She is survived by two daughters, Mary and her husband, Danny Comer of Mannford, Oklahoma and Marilyn Ogden of Glenpool, Oklahoma; son, Jerry and his wife, Sybil Ogden of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Daniel Comer of Jenks, Oklahoma, Darrin and Sharon Comer of Terlton, Oklahoma, Monica Johnson of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Toby and Alison Lee of Gardner, Kansas, Mark Lee of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Joe and Trina Lee of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, James Ogden of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Angela Ogden of Tulsa, Oklahoma; thirteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jake Edens and wife Pauline of Springdale, Wayne Edens and wife Jean of Searcy, Arkansas, Wyley Edens and wife Dottie of Tulsa; and a sister, Geneva Tindall and husband Tom of Center Ridge, Arkansas. Many other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Oakhill Cemetery Chapel. Burial will be under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funreral Home. Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home or online at www.chapman-black.com
