Funeral services for Eula Pearl Mosley of Terlton, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with services officiated by Rev. David Head. Burial will follow at Terlton Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
Eula Pearl Mosley was born February 3, 1936 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma to Charles and Pearl Lee Violet Reed. As a young child the family made their home on the Sand Springs Line. Eula attended grammar school at the Mark Twain and Roosevelt Schools. She later graduated from Central High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to Clarence Pete Mosley at Stillwell, Oklahoma on October 15, 1956. They made their initial home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Eula began working at Mary LouÃs Pastry Shop on South Boston in Tulsa. Eula worked at the Mary LouÃs for several years before accepting employment at the Safeway at 51st and Harvard. In 1972 Eula and Pete moved to Terlton where they raised their three daughters Debbie, Brenda and Kathy. Eula later transferred to the Safeway in Sand Springs where she retired in 1998 as the Bakery Manager.
Eula loved being with her children, grandchildren, working in her garden, sewing and putting puzzles together. She also looked forward to the family gatherings and cooking for her family.
Eula passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years and 13 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Pete on April 19, 2002 as well as a sister Ola Mae.
Survived by her three daughters, Debbie and husband Robert Stamper of Mannford, Oklahoma; Brenda Ludolph of Terlton, Oklahoma; Kathy and husband Eric Schmidt of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two sisters, Euda C. Roberts of Strang, Oklahoma; Jennie Lee Hignite of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother Gene H. Grayson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Adam Ludolph, Phillip Ludolph, Amanda Ludolph, Robin Stamper, Michael Stamper, Courtney Schmidt, Jessica Schmidt, one great grandson, Caleb Jordan Wayne and numerous other relatives and friends.
