Eliza Louise White passed away on Monday August 1, 2011 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years seven months and eleven days. Louise was born December 21, 1928 in Eagletown, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Clayton B. and Acy (Fobb) Wade. As a young girl Louise attended school and was raised in Southeastern Oklahoma. At the completion of her education Louise enrolled at the Haskell Institute where she learned the principles of business. She was later united in marriage to Jonas White, Sr. The couple has lived in various place due to the fact Jonas pursued a career in the military. During those times Louise worked as a medical records clerk at the military bases. After Jonas retired the couple resided in Del City, Oklahoma and she gained employment with the Indian Health Services. In the mid 1970Ãs the couple moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Louise continued working for the Indian Health Services and always looked forward to returning to Oklahoma. In the mid 80Ãs they returned to Talihina. In 1990, Louise and Jonas moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma where they have continued to reside. Louise was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of JehovahÃs Witnesses. She was very active in the field ministry and served as a Regular Pioneer. Louise would also attend the District Convention as well as the Circuit Assemblies at all costs. Louise has been a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall. Survivors are her husband Jonas; two daughters Talitha Peabody of Lakeside, Arizona, Jerri Barger of Chicago, Illinois, one son Jonas L. White, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren Sundari Ashcraft of Pinetop, Arizona, Joshua Peabody of Phoenix, Arizona, one greatgrandson Cruz Ashcraft and a host of other relatives and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her father Clayton B. Wade; mother Acy McKinney and a brother Daniel C. Wade. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The services and cremation were under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
