Dylan Wade

In Loving Memory of Dylan Axlexander Wade

With profound sadness, we share the unexpected passing of Dylan Axlexander Wade on January 30, 2025. Dylan was a rare soul-one who could walk into any room and instantly make it warmer, brighter, and filled with laughter. His kindness was effortless, his generosity limitless, and his presence unforgettable.

Dylan was born on October 12, 2001, in Clinton, Iowa. The son of Delinda Sue Wade-Clark. Dylan grew up and attended school in Ohio, Oklahoma, Arizona and last at Raleigh, North Carolina. During his time attending school he was a member of the Nathan Hale ROTC. Dylan worked many hours canvassing in North Carolina during the 2024 Presidential election cycle. In December of 2024, Dylan returned to Tulsa and began working at the family restaurant Ike's Chili.

Dylan was more than a friend; he was a protector, an advocate, and a light for others. He stood up for what was right, always looking out for those who needed a voice. His passion for human rights, helping others, and making people laugh defined him as much as his adventurous spirit. A natural problem-solver, Dylan had a gift for electronics, cars, and an insatiable curiosity about the world-one he dreamed of exploring.

He found joy in nature, family, and friendship, always putting his loved ones first. Whether fixing something with ease, cracking a joke to lift someone's spirits, or simply offering a listening ear, Dylan gave his best to those around him.

As a cherished member of the Ike's Chili Family in Tulsa, Dylan's absence leaves a void that words cannot fill. His impact on his friends, colleagues, and community will never fade.

Though his journey was cut short, his legacy of kindness, courage, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

Survivors are his mother Delinda Clark of the home, father Jason Clark of Burlington, North Carolina, siblings Jessica Story, Linda Wade, Ax Clark, Christopher Clark, Willis Edge, Michael Edge maternal grandparents Len and Debbie Wade, Montie and Robin Bishop, paternal grandparents Sandra Gonzalez, Richard Clark, maternal great grandmother Loretta Bishop and a host of other relatives and friends.
