Dorothy Margaret Hall passed from this life on January 29, 2021 at the age of 92 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dorothy was born on February 8, 1928, in Hominy, Oklahoma. Dorothy was raised and received her education in Hominy where she later graduated. Following high school Dorothy was united in marriage to James Hall on February 14, 1959, and they established their home in Hominy. Dorothy worked for MunsingWear for many years as a seamstress. Dorothy later started baby sitting and being a homemaker. In 1965, Dorothy moved in the San Jose area of California working as a electronics technician. In the late 1990’s, Dorothy returned to Oklahoma and established her home in Cleveland where she has continued to reside.
Dorothy had an extensive collection of Angels. She also enjoyed sewing, making clothes and quilts for her family and friends. Dorothy was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Survivors are her three children Terry Hall and his wife Karen of Pryor, Oklahoma, Karen Hall of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Brian Hall and his wife Kristal of Wilmington, Delaware; one sister Mary Ruth Pogue of Cleveland, Oklahoma, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Neler Spears, husband James Hall, siblings Bernice Strader, Henry Floyd Spears, Charles Spears, Everette Spears and Vilas Spears.
Private services will be held in the Boston Pool Cemetery at a later date. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cleveland Pound Pals. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Dorothy at www.chapman-black.com.
