Dorothy Viola Harriman, also known as Dottie Morris, was born on February 7, 1956 in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Frederick and Alice (Morse) Cote. Dottie moved with her family at an early age to San Antonio, Texas as her father was in the Air Force. She attended school there until the family returned to Attleboro where she graduated from Attleboro High School with the Class of 1974. Shortly after graduation, Dottie was married and had three sons, Corey, Eric and Bryan. They moved frequently in their early years finally settling in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She served a short time in the United States Air Force but was discharged honorably for medical reasons. Dottie was married to Charles ìChuckî Harriman on March 14, 1993 and the couple moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. They soon established their residence west of Cleveland and have continued to reside there until the time of her passing. While residing in Cleveland, Dottie accepted employment at JackÃs Convenience Store as a clerk and worked there for nearly ten year until she retired in 2007 for medical reasons. Dottie was described by her family as a kind, giving and compassionate woman who was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She never seemed to meet a stranger and was always available to help anyone in need; she was truly a friend to all. Her hobbies included working on old cars with her husband Chuck; a trade she learned while taking automobile mechanics at Vo-Tech in Tulsa. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. She loved animals and always had dogs and cats but her Yorkie, Tootsie and Siamese Cat, Pearl Girl are all that she had when she passed from this life on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home near Cleveland. She is survived by her husband, Charles Harriman of the home; son, Bryan Morris of Stillwater, Oklahoma; granddaugher, Raegan Morris of Stillwater, Oklahoma; four brothers, Larry Cote of Attleboro, Massachusetts, Tim Bogus of Luling, Texas, David Cote, Attleboro, Massachusetts, John Cote of South Attleboro, Massachusetts; three sisters, Robin West of Luling, Texas, Bonnie Tremblay of Florida, and Barbara Cote of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
