Memorial services for Doris Mary Storm will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Baptist Village in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Rev. Lloyd Hall and Rev. Gregory Hall with Terry Dennis performing as musician. The body was cremated and will be later interred in the Camp Russell Cemetery in Guthrie, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
Doris was born on June 18, 1922 in Osage, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William M and Mattie Lloyd Watts. Doris began and attended school in Osage where she later graduated. Following high school Doris was united in marriage to Miltie L. Storm on December 14, 1941 in Manhattan Beach, California. The two moved to Salina, Oklahoma where they established their home for many years. Following the death of Miltie in April of 1994, Doris remained in Salina and later moved to Cleveland in 2001. Doris had been currently residing at the Baptist Village.
Doris and Miltie were very active members and supporters of the VFW in Salina for many years. Doris was also very active in the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Doris passed from this life on Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Cleveland Area Hospital at the age of 93 years, four months and twenty nine days.
Survivors are numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Miltie, two brothers James Watts, Adrian Watts, Sr. and one sister Wilma (Watts) Shipman.
