Doris B Jackson-Naney

Doris Bess Jackson-Naney, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Granite Mesa Health Center in Marble Falls, Texas at the age of 102 years, six months and eleven days. Doris was born on Valentine ís Day February 14, 1912, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ben and Florence B. (Huey) Cooper. She was born into a large family she was 6th of 7 children which include Ben, Charley, Delia (Sis), Deleene, Dorthy and Florence. Doris grew up around Anadarko, Oklahoma and attended Anadarko High School where she was a member of the ìPeppersî in 1928. Doris married Glenn Jackson in Bristow Oklahoma in 1939 and they had two daughters Suzanne and Gaylene. Doris and Glenn resided in Cleveland and worked side-by-side owning and operating Jackson Grocery. Glenn passed away in 1971, and years later she married Autry Naney who passed away in 1988. Survivors include two daughter Suzanne Stice of Marble Falls, Texas, Gaylene Jackson of Marble Falls, Texas X, three grandchildren Barbara Edwards, Julie Shaffer, Jennifer Harrison, six great-grandchildren Tucker and Jordan Edwards, Logan and Connor Docherty, Makenzie and Morgan Harrison; two great-great-grandchildren Daniel and Henry Edwards Graveside services will be held 9:00 am Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
