Debra Sue Fitts

Debra Sue Fitts passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Cleveland Area Hospital at the age of 58 years, eleven months and four days. Debbie was born April 14, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma she was the daughter of Jack, Sr. and Helen (Moore) McElroy. Debbie grew up in Cleveland where she attended and graduated from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1973. Following high school Debbie worked at Safeway for many years as well as working at the Cleveland Area Hospital. Debbie later moved to Wann, Oklahoma and worked at the Walmart Pharmacy for many years in Coffeeville, Kansas. In 2007, Debbie returned to Cleveland where she has continued to reside. Spending time with her family and grandkids is what gave Debbie the most enjoyment out of life. Going with her family to Honey Creek in Grove was always a great memory Debbie cherished. One of her favorite things to do outdoors was taking her boys fishing. Survivors are her three sons Jeremy Reid and his wife Cricket of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Joey Reid and his wife Vickie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Joshua Horton of Cleveland, Oklahoma; mother Helen Reagle of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother Jack McElroy, Jr. of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one sister Billie Douglas of Cleveland, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Jordan and Aidan Reid of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Lexi and Haley Horton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, niece Adrien McElroy, Renae Davis, Journey Douglas, Jaden Douglas; nephews Lane Nemec, Carson Douglas as well as numeorus other relatives and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father Jack Lee McElroy, Sr., step father Billy Reagle, son Jeffrey Horton and grandparents Ellen Moore, Delphia Jacobs-McElroy and Cleo McElroy. Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Woodland Cemetery with Pastor David Logsdon officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
