Debra Kay Casey, 65, resident of Ponca City, OK passed from this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her home. Debra was born December 9, 1956, in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Clarence Glen and O’Donna Lavon (Morris) Long. She was raised in the Terlton area, graduating from Cleveland High School with the class of 1975. On November 22, 1975, Debra and Skeet Casey were united in marriage at the Terlton Baptist Church. They made their home in Jennings, OK, later moving to Mannford. In 1991, the family moved to Pampa, Texas, where they made their home until 2008 when they made their home in Ponca City. Debra was first baptized in the Hallett Baptist Church and later rededicated her life at the Calvary Baptist Church in Pampa, TX. She always put her family first and loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Debra loved to sew for her family, go on camping trips, go fishing, work in her flower beds, and feed and watch birds. She loved having family get-togethers and holiday parties.
Those that survive and hold many precious memories include her husband – Skeet of the home; children – Angie Garcia and husband John of Tonkawa, OK and Jimmy Casey and wife Anita of Ponca City, OK; two brothers – Keith Long and wife Cheryl of Stillwater, OK, and Steve Long and wife Debby of Terlton, OK; as well as her three grandchildren: Kevin Moxon, Paisley, and Waylon Casey. Debbie was also loved by numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and O’Donna Long.
Visitation for Debra will be from 1 pm – 6 pm on Sunday, March 27th at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, March 28th at the New Hope Baptist Church in Mannford with Pastor Dusty Giles officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford, OK.
