De Etta Jean Trimble, 86, passed from this life on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.   De Etta was born on July 26, 1928, in Cleveland, Oklahoma. (She went by De De) She was the daughter of Ernest Earl and Ruth Evelyn (Lurwick) Wiles.  As a young girl De Etta was raised and received her education in Cleveland; later graduating from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1946.  Following high school De Etta attended Oklahoma A&M University in Stillwater.  On August 8, 1947, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, De Etta was united in marriage to the love of her life Eldon D. Trimble.  Following their marriage the couple established their initial home in Cleveland, moving to Tulsa, Ok in 1951.  De Etta and Eldon were transferred from Tulsa to Colorado in 1959, then transferred again to Houston, TX for a short time in 1964 before moving back to Tulsa that same year. De Etta and Eldon remained in Tulsa until 2007 when they moved to Broken Arrow.   De Etta loved music and was a wonderful pianist.  She has played for many people as well as for numerous weddings, funerals, recitals and church events throughout her life.  De Etta was a church pianist/organist at various churches for over 50 years.  For many years De Etta has also taught numerous people how to play the piano.   De Etta was an accredited piano teacher and a member of the following music organizations, which allowed her to enter students in competition: Tulsa Accredited Music Teachers Association, the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, the Music Teachers National Association, and the National Guild of Piano Teachers.  She was also a member of Hyecheka which is a music appreciation organization. De Etta loved being around her family and was always grateful when they were all together.  De Etta loved to travel.  She and Eldon have been to many places including an Alaskan Cruise, Fall foliage tour of the New England states, European vacation which encompassed the Rhine and Moselle River as well as spending time in the Smokey Mountains and Canada.  De Etta has been a long time member of the Metro Faith Christian Church.  In 2009 Metro Faith merged with another church and became Woodland Christian Church where De Etta was a member. Survivors are her husband Eldon of the home, four children Sheryl and Rick Bushnell of Joplin, Missouri, Judy and Richard Hall of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Eldon Lee and Amy Trimble of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Terry and Teresa Trimble of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four sister in laws Marion Wiles of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Allie Wiles of Claremore, Oklahoma, JoAn Bowlin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Evelyn Wiles of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren Wayne, Scott, Kirt, Rick, Jr. Bushnell, Michael Ortiz, Stephanie Enjaian, Andrew Trimble; ten great grandchildren  Kathryn, Nathan, Madelyn, Owen, Anna, Sela, Braden, Nahla, Brooke, William.  She was preceded in death by mother Ruth  Evelyn Wiles (Lurwick), father Ernest Earl Wiles, siblings Klorene Lawrence, James M. Wiles, Loris E. Wiles, Harold Wiles, Jack Wiles, George Wiles, Geraldine Lawrence, granddaughter Emily Dawn Trimble. Pallbearers will include Scott Bushnell, Kirt Bushnell, Rick Bushnell Jr., Michael Ortiz, Andrew Trimble and Eldon L. Trimble. Church Services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the First Christian Church in Cleveland with Rick Bushnell Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
