Danny Harrison Bishop

Danny Harrison Bishop was born October 16, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Monty Junior and Loretta J. Bishop. Danny moved with his family several times as a youth, residing in Prague, Seminole and then to Ontario, California. The family moved to Cleveland in 1968 where Danny received most of his education.

Danny spent most of his adult life working as a carpenter. He spent many years working in the Boone, North Carolina area employed by L. P. Cox and Angelo Esterro.

Although working in North Carolina for many years, Danny always considered Cleveland as his home. He was married to Sandra Kay McMonigle in Boone, North Carolina on February 14, 1995. Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed camping. He was a believer of the Jehovah Witness faith.

Danny passed way in Cleveland, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the age of forty-five years, eleven months and sixteen days. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Chasity Dawn Bishop.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Bishop, of the home; children, Lindy Sue Bishop (Wade), Iowa; Brandon Cory and Sarah Bishop (Wade), Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Ashley Sanders, Texas; brother, Montie and Robin Bishop, Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sisters, Kelly and Danny Malmstin, Stuart, Florida; Lorie and Jesse Bias, Oklahoma and Shari Nicholas, five grandchildren, step-children, Tammy Stacy, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Gerald Shaw, Preston, Oklahoma; Sandra Cargola, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; and Jimmy Shaw, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; nine step-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

A family time of reflection was held Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Feoydi Park in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
