Today we are gathered here to celebrate the life of Danette Elise Hines, who passed on from this life on December 15, 2022, at the age of 57 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Danette was born on November 5, 1965, in Modesto, California. She is the daughter of Kenneth Leslie Copeland and Dana Sue (Maxwell) Copeland. Danette grew up and attended school in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Following high school Danette started working for the Cleveland Area Hospital as a lab and x-ray technician. In 2007, Danette was united in marriage to the love of her life Steve J Hines. Then the two of them began traveling and working on the pipeline throughout the United States.
Danette always loved being a grandmother (AKA Nana Boop to most), a mother, and a wife. She enjoyed things like; going to the casino and getting her hair brushed by her granddaughter’s. She always loved having her family over at the house. Going crappie fishing was something she always looked forward to doing. During the times that her and Steve worked in Texas and Louisiana, were some of her all time favorite places to be.
She is survived by her husband Steve Hines of the home; Her three children: Daughters are Dessie Worstell and spouse Justin Tanner; Autumn Wahl and husband Jerry Wahl; and a son Kenneth Worstell. Her mother, Dana Maxwell; her sisters, Leah Stalling, Nellie Irwin, Eddie Irwin, Lisa Kaye, and Juakein Tuttle. Her brothers; Otis Hines Jr., William Tuttle and Herman Tuttle. Her grandchildren Taylor Charles and husband Dustin Charles, Ryan, Kiley, and Layla Wahl; Ruger and Sissy Tanner; and a great grandson Montana Charles.
Danette was preceded in death by her dad Kenneth Copeland, a sister Trinity Ann, her Mother-n-law Benna Jane, and Father-n-law Otis “Sunny” Hines.
