Connie was born on May 15, 1946, in Newkirk, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Henry “Hank” Lee and Peggy Louise (Dooley) Martin. Connie was raised and went to school in Ponca City, graduating with the Class of 1964. During her time in high school Connie participated in choir as well as taking part in the Dynamiters Pep Club. She also worked tirelessly during high school to purchase a horse named “Big Red”. Connie had Big Red for many years before she finally parted with him and purchased a 1957 Bel Aire that she drove. Connie was later introduced to Dean Eddings and the couple established their home in Hominy in 1973. Dean worked on the pipeline and the two set out on the road traveling throughout the US until 1997. They soon moved to Cleveland and Connie opened several shops in town one being Connie’s Collectibles, Attic Memories and the Farm House Flea Market.
Connie loved her family very much and enjoyed going to auctions, playing bingo, doing crafts or traveling to the casino. She also loved listening to country music or Elvis and she liked to drag race. Many years ago Connie was Baptized and accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour at the Osage Baptist Church.
