Cloyde Clifford Byrom

Cloyde Clifford Byrom, lifelong Cleveland resident, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2003 at his home in Cleveland, at the age of ninety-two years and ten days.

Cloyde was born September 16, 1911 in rural Pawnee County, Oklahoma, near Maramec. He was the son of Calvin Sinnitt and Lottie Mamie Byrom. He moved to Cleveland at an early age, where he was raised an attended school.

Cloyde was know as a hard working and honest man that could be counted upon to assist anyone in need. He worked for many years as a maintenance man for the water and sewer departments of the Cleveland of Cleveland. He was married for many years to Fern Elizabeth Burton. Fern preceded in in death on November 24, 1964.

In addition to his wife, Cloyde was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Delmas Byrom. He is survived by his brother, Calvin Byrom, Dade City, Florida; sister, Letha Bernice Byrom, Dade City, Florida; numerous nephews and nieces including, Les Cummings, Collinsville, Oklahoma; Cliff Cummings, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Caregivers and Best Friends, Christi Brown, Tana Brown, Jamie Buntin, Nakasha Holloway, Brandi Young, Sarah Aubrey, Dan'L Adams, Brady Tanner and Tiffany Brown, all of Cleveland, Oklahoma;.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at the Chapel of Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Dixie Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
