Clifford Wayne Morelock, Jr.

Clifford Wayne Morelock Jr, longtime Cleveland area resident, passed from this world on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 74. Clifford passed surrounded by his wife and children.
Clifford was born in Springfield Missouri on March 1,1946 to Delilah Fem Huffman. He met his wife, Karen LaVern McFarland when he was 14 years old, and she was 13. He sat beside her on the school bus and told her he was going to marry her. They were married on March 8, 1963 and celebrated their 57th anniversary this year.
Clifford and his family moved to Oklahoma to be near his in-laws and spent most of their married life in the Cleveland area.
Clifford is survived by his wife, LaVern, daughters Teresa Owens and husband Weldon Jr, Lisa Carter and husband Mark, Nancy Moreno and husband Richard, Samantha Williams and husband Rusty, and son John Morelock. Clifford and LaVern have 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, with one on the way. He is also survived by one sister and two brothers.
Clifford loved his family more than anything and often said how blessed he was to have such a large family. Next to spending time with them, his passions included racing, and he spent many days working and driving at the race track in Hallett, as well as camping, fishing and working on anything with a motor. Clifford loved spending time playing cards and games with his sisters and brother in-laws.
Clifford is known for his sense of humor and his generosity. He and his wife often took in those that needed a place to stay and gave freely of whatever he had to those in need.
There will be a celebration of life for Clifford on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at noon at Feyodi Creek.
