Clarence A. ''Pete'' Mosley was born June 10, 1929 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was the son of Floyd Henry and Mamie Jestin (Denton) Mosley. Pete moved with his family at an early age to Tulsa where he was raised and attended school at Lowell School on Peoria.

Pete began a career in carpentry at an early age as he helped his father to remodel and build homes in the Tulsa area. Pete enlisted into the service of his country during World War II in the United States Army. Upon completion of his military duty he returned to Tulsa and resumed his career in carpentry working with his father.

On October 15, 1956, Pete was married to Eula Pearl Reed in Stillwell, Oklahoma. The couple initially established their home in Tulsa but moved to Wichita, Kansas after a short time when Pete accepted employment constructing silo bins. Shortly after moving the Kansas, the couple moved to California where Pete began working for the National Forestry Service. Pete and Eula made their home in Anderson, just outside Redding, California.

The couple later returned their family to Tulsa and then on to the Terlton, Oklahoma area in 1972, They had three daughters, Debbie, Brenda and Kathy.

Pete continued to remain active in the carpentry business throughout his life. However, when the opportunity arose you would always find him on a creek bank with a fishing pole in his hand. In addition to his love for fishing, he also enjoyed hunting.

Pete passed away Friday, April 19, 2002 at his home near Terlton, Oklahoma at the age of seventy-two years, ten months and nine days. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gordon and Wilson; as well as a sister Audria.

Pete is survived by his wife, Eula Mosley, of the home; daughter, Debbie and husband Robert Stamper of Mannford, Oklahoma; daughter, Brenda Ludolph of Terlton, Oklahoma; daughter, Kathy and husband Eric Schmidt of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Adam, Phillip and Amanda Ludolph, Michael and Robin Stamper, Courtney and Jessica Schmidt; brother-in-law, Toy Eli Vaughn, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Monday April 22, 2002 at 2:00 pm at the Chapman-Black Chapel with Pastor Dan Edens officiating the services. Burial will be in the Terlton Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
