Funeral services for C.J. Dietz will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Terlton Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Foy officiating. Burial will be in the Terlton Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Christopher Jason Dietz was born on April 13, 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of George Anton and Elizabeth Sue (Monforte) Dietz. As a young boy C.J. was raised in Cleveland where he began kindergarten. During the time C.J. was growing up he was a very active part of the Bobcat Football as well as high school football. C.J. graduated from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1994. Following graduation C.J. attended Northeastern State University and finished his associates degree at Tulsa Community College. On July 12, 2006, in Tulsa, Oklahoma C.J. was united in marriage to Amber Lynn Silva. The couple established their initial home in Tulsa and later moved to Oklahoma City in 2008, and just recently moved to Yukon, Oklahoma. C.J. had been employed with Ligistix and TCC during his time in college. He was currently employed with Community Action Agency for over three years as the print shop manager. C.J. was very gentle and calm spirited person; unless The University of Oklahoma was involved which brought out his ornery side. He was an OU fanatic and has been a sincere loyal fan since he was born. He did not take the losses very well especially when OSU was in the picture. C.J. was also a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots. He loved target shooting as well as fishing especially at the farm. Most of all in life C.J. loved his Lord. He had just completed his Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults for the Catholic Faith and was looking forward to being a part of the Knights of Columbus. Christopher Jason Dietz passed from this life on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Survivors are his wife Amber Dietz of the home, parents George and Sue Dietz of Cleveland, Oklahoma, two siblings Janie Lanette Dietz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mark Steven Dietz of Cleveland, Oklahoma; his Golden Retriever Dude and numerous relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. C.J. was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Roxie Dietz and maternal grandparents Albin C. and Marie G. Monforte.
