Cindy Lea Myers, 48, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at her home.
Cindy was born November 1, 1969, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Terry Lee and Mary Jane “Janie” (Sharpnack) Hill. Cindy began school in Hominy where she later finished at Hominy High School. Following high school Cindy attended nursing school in Tulsa. Cindy was a home health nurse and private care nurse for several in the area.
Cindy loved basketball. She also took great pride in raising her children. Always taking them to book stores and was very adamant about teaching them that reading was knowledge. She also loved taking them to the lake and was a very loving and caring individual.
Survivors are three children Preston Hill of Hominy, Oklahoma, Ethan Myers of Hominy, Oklahoma, Emily Myers of Hominy, Oklahoma, mother Janie Hill of Hominy, Oklahoma, brother Mark Hill of Hartshorne, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents and father Terry Hill.
The body was cremated under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
