Christopher Ray Kirk, 41, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at his home in Cleveland, Oklahoma at the age of 41 years. Chris was born April 10, 1968 in Ada, Oklahoma.'  He was the son of Vinson Ray and Carolyn Faye (Reeves) Kirk.'  As a young boy Chris grew up in Konawa and began attending school at Summers Chapel.'  He later completed his education in Konawa where he graduated with the Class of 1986.'  Shortly after high school Chris began working for J.W. Ainsworth on his ranch helping him with the day to day operations.'  Chris later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he gained employment as a maintenance man with Wonder Bread.'  Chris continued working for Wonder Bread for over nine years when he accepted a position with Hi Tech Auto in Sapulpa.'  Chris also worked for Bartlett Collins Glass and A-1 Chrysler before working at LPM and Medley Forklift as a forklift technician.'  In 2006, Chris was forced into retirement due to medical difficulties.'  Chris loved fishing and hunting.'  His biggest passion was working on cars and trading automobiles.'  He also enjoyed riding motorcycles in his spare time.'  The thing that Chris enjoyed most out of life was being with his family, friends and his grandchildren. Survivors include his Tiffany of the home, five children Christina Nunn, Joshua, Kristin Cannon, Anthony Jay and Kwyntin Kirk; father Vince Kirk and his wife Pam of Konawa, Oklahoma; three sisters Valerie Vails of Henypenn, Oklahoma, Bridget Campbell of Konawa, Oklahoma, Misty Bowles of Konawa, Oklahoma; one step sister Cherri Walsh of Seminole, Oklahoma; two step brothers Jeremy Walsh of Konawa, Oklahoma, R.W. Vietzke of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents Steve and Mavis Kirk of Ada, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Rayle, Crash Nicholas and Izabella as well as a host of other relatives and friends.'  Chris was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Faye (Reeves) Kirk and maternal grandparents Carl and Faye Reeves. Chapel services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel.'  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Sumner, Oklahoma at 3:30 pm under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.'  Friends can share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.
